Management

As president and CEO of Pixarra, Ken Carlino is responsible for both the day-to-day operations and direction of Pixarra as well as the development of TwistedBrush Pro Studio. He founded Pixarra in 2003 with the goal to bring easy and fun digital art software to artists.

Ken holds a bachelor's of science degree in computer science and has worked as a successful software engineer and technology leader for various companies for over 25 years covering a wide range of technology domains including credit authorization, industrial printing, web server and web browser work in the early days of the internet and mobility software for phones and other handheld devices.

His love for art and art creation started early and expanded while living in Minnesota surrounded by inspiring nature before even entering the technology field. His informal study of art and art media has been a constant thread of interest and involvement through out.

In addition to Pixarra, Ken also previously founded Kamyan Software and developed and sold numerous programs ranging from screen savers, games, utilities and graphic programs.
